FUNCTIONAL ADDITIVE QUANTILE REGRESSION
Statistica Sinica, 2021Summary: We investigate a functional additive quantile regression that models the conditional quantile of a scalar response based on the nonparametric effects of a functional predictor. We model the nonparametric effects of the principal component scores as additive components, which are approximated by B-splines.

Additive Automorphic Functions and Bloch Functions
Canadian Journal of Mathematics, 1994AbstractA function f analytic in the unit disk D is said to be strongly uniformly continuous hyperbolically, or SUCH, on a set E ⊂ D if for each ∊ > 0 there exists a δ > 0 such that |f(z) — f(z')| < ∊ whenever z and z' are points in E and the hyperbolic distance between z and z' is less than δ.

Additive Functionals on Groups
Mathematical Proceedings of the Cambridge Philosophical Society, 1962The kernel of a non-trivial linear functional φ on a linear space E is a maximal proper linear subspace of E which determines φ up to a non-zero multiple. Does a similar result hold for homomorphisms of a group G into the additive group R of the real numbers?

Functional Infant Formula Additives
NeoReviewsBreastfeeding is the ideal initial feeding method for providing nutrition to full-term infants and is recommended by major health organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics and the World Health Organization. Despite improvements in global breastfeeding rates, many infants still receive formula.

In commonly used functional regression models, the regression of a scalar or functional response on the functional predictor is assumed to be linear. This means that the response is a linear function of the functional principal component scores of the predictor process.

On the Distribution Function of Additive Functions
The Annals of Mathematics, 1946The author extends his previous work on the distribution of values of additive arithmetical functions [J. Lond. Math. Soc. 13, 119--127 (1938; Zbl 0018.29301); Am. J. Math. 61, 713--721 (1939; Zbl 0022.00903) and Am. J. Math. 61, 722--725 (1939; Zbl 0022.01001)]. Many striking results are obtained.

Orthogonally Additive: Additive Functional Equation
2014Using fixed point method, we prove the Hyers–Ulam stability of the orthogonally additive–additive functional equation $$\displaystyle{f\left (\frac{x} {2} + y\right ) + f\left (\frac{x} {2} + z\right ) = f(x) + f(y) + f(z)}$$ for all x, y, z with x ⊥ y, in orthogonality Banach spaces and in non-Archimedean orthogonality Banach spaces.
