Adductor Canal Compression Syndrome — A Case Report

Vascular Surgery, 1987
Adductor canal compression syndrome is an unusual cause of acute arterial occlusion in younger men. The arterial occlusion results from extrinsic com pression by an abnormal musculotendinous band arising from the adductor magnus muscle. The mechanism of this syndrome is similar to that of thoracic outlet and popliteal fossa entrapment syndromes.
