Fatty Acid Oxidation Controls CD8+ Tissue-Resident Memory T-cell Survival in Gastric Adenocarcinoma
Cancer immunology research, 2020Tissue-resident memory T cells (Trm) protect against local infection and tumor formation. In gastric adenocarcinoma, Trm are associated with better patient survival and fatty acid availability, and are crucial for Trm persistence and antitumor effects ...

All of the consultants considered needle biopsy an integral tool in management of a parotid neoplasm. If the tumor was limited to the superficial lobe of the parotid, they were split between ordering no further tests (Drs. Johnson and Glenn) and proceeding with a CT scan (Dr. Beckford).

Adenocarcinoma of the vagina in young women had been recorded rarely before the report of several cases treated at the Vincent Memorial Hospital between 1966 and 1969. The unusual occurrence of this tumor in eight patients born in New England hospitals between 1946 and 1951 led us to conduct a retrospective investigation in search of factors that might

Basaloid adenocarcinoma. A new variant of pulmonary adenocarcinoma
Virchows Archiv, 2007The 2004 WHO classification of lung tumours recognised basaloid carcinoma as a variant of squamous and large cell carcinoma. We report a unique case of primary pulmonary adenocarcinoma with a basaloid component. An 82-year-old man underwent pulmonary lobectomy for a 2.8 cm tumour. The patient is disease-free 13 months after diagnosis.

Cervical adenocarcinomas are increasing in incidence each year, comprising up to 25% of all cervical cancers diagnosed in the United States. This increase largely reflects the inherent difficulty in detecting glandular precursor lesions using current screening practices.

Adenocarcinoma of the duodenum
Journal of Surgical Oncology, 1987AbstractThree patients with carcinoma of the first and the third part of the duodenum are reported. A review of the literature shows the diagnosis of this rare lesion of the duodenum is usually late. In order for surgical resection to be successful, suspicion of such a lesion and an aggressive workup is needed.

HYSTEROSCOPY AND ADENOCARCINOMA
Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinics of North America, 1995Although the diagnostic accuracy of hysteroscopy is high, it should be considered a diagnostic technique and used together with endometrial biopsy. Hysteroscopy is useful for excluding those patients with abnormal uterine bleeding who show no signs of intrauterine pathology.

Adenocarcinoma of the Prostate
2014Prostate cancer is the most common cancer and the second most common cause of cancer-related death among men. Because of the advent of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) concentration in serum screening, most prostate cancer new cases are clinically localized at diagnosis, and the 5-year relative survival rate approaches 100 %. Until now, patients with an
