Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

QUANTIFICATION OF FRICTION IN THE FRETTING PHENOMENON [PDF]

open access: yesFiabilitate şi Durabilitate, 2021
Fretting is now fully identified as a small amplitude oscillatory motion which induces a harmonic tangential force between two surfaces in contact. The present paper argues that adhesion forces and elastic deformation in the contact zone may contribute

Rollover Stability of Heavy-Duty AGVs in Turns Considering Variation in Friction Coefficient

open access: yesLubricants, 2023
This study analysed the impact of turning rate, the centre of mass height, and road adhesion coefficient on the rollover stability of heavy-duty automated guided vehicles (AGVs) using a multi-body dynamics simulation model.

A New Safety Distance Model Based on Braking Process Considering Adhesion Coefficient

open access: yesElectronics
The traditional safety distance model based on the braking process is inadequate for scenarios where the adhesion coefficient varies. This research presents a safety distance model that takes into account the real-time fluctuations in the adhesion ...

Adenosine‐to‐inosine editing of miR‐200b‐3p is associated with the progression of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

Mutual Diffusion Coefficients of acryl Adhesive-Acetate Ester Systems.

open access: yesKAGAKU KOGAKU RONBUNSHU, 1996
Mutual diffusion coefficients of acryl adhesiveacetate ester (methyl acetate, ethyl acetate, n-propyl acetate) systems were measured at 313.15 K using a sorption-desorption apparatus with a quartz spring. Further, those of an acryl adhesive-ethyl acetate system at 333.15 K were also measured.

Research on Curved Path Tracking Control for Four-Wheel Steering Vehicle considering Road Adhesion Coefficient

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, 2020
Curved path tracking control is one of the most important functions of autonomous vehicles. First, small turning radius circular bends considering bend quadrant and travel direction restrictions are planned by polar coordinate equations.

Reduced vascular leakage correlates with breast carcinoma T regulatory cell infiltration but not with metastatic propensity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A mouse model for vascular normalization and a human breast cancer cohort were studied to understand the relationship between vascular leakage and tumor immune suppression. For this, endothelial and immune cell RNAseq, staining for vascular function, and immune cell profiling were employed.

Joint Estimation of Driving State and Road Surface Adhesion Coefficient of a Four-Wheel Independent and Steering-Drive Electric Vehicle

open access: yesWorld Electric Vehicle Journal
Vehicle running state parameters and road surface state are crucial to the stability of four-wheel independent drive and steering electric vehicle control. Therefore, this study explores the estimation of vehicle driving state parameters and road surface
