Pricing and Hedging GLWB in the Heston and in the Black-Scholes with Stochastic Interest Rate Models
Valuing Guaranteed Lifelong Withdrawal Benefit (GLWB) has attracted significant attention from both the academic field and real world financial markets. As remarked by Forsyth and Vetzal the Black and Scholes framework seems to be inappropriate for such ...

A Tensor product generalized ADI method for the method of planes
AbstractWe consider solving separable, second order, linear elliptic prtial differential equations in three independent variables. If the partial differential opertor separates into two terms, one depending on x and y, and one depending on z, then we use the method of planes to obtain a discrete problem, which we write in tensor product from as We ...

This study identifies palmitoylation as a novel regulatory modification of SMAD4, mediated by ZDHHC22/APT2. It activates fatty acid synthesis, creating a self‐reinforcing SMAD4–FASN–palmitate feedback loop that drives pancreatic cancer growth and enhances radiotherapy sensitivity.

Towards boosting unlabeled text corpora for Arabic dialect identification [PDF]
Arabic dialect identification (ADI) aims to automatically determine the specific regional dialect of a given Arabic text. State-of-the-art ADI solutions often rely on fine-tuning Arabic-specific pre-trained language models (PLMs).

General Approach for the Sensitivity Analysis and Optimization of Integrated Optical Evanescent-Wave Sensors [PDF]
The optimization of integrated optical evanescent-wave sensors is dual. For optimal performances, we require waveguides with both maximal sensitivity to the measurand, the quantity intended to be measured, and minimal sensitivities to perturbations.

Mapping the “Supply–Demand–Flow” of Ecosystem Services for Ecosystem Management in China
This study develops a “supply–demand–flow” framework clarifies how ecosystem services move between regions by distinguishing potential and actual supply and demand. Using integrated biophysical–socioeconomic modeling, nine services in China were mapped.

In this paper, a numerical method of a two-dimensional (2D) integro-differential equation with two fractional Riemann–Liouville (R-L) integral kernels is investigated. The compact difference method is employed in the spatial direction. The integral terms

Argument Driven Inquiry and Student Achievement in High School Chemistry, Moderated by Gender
In the age of high stakes testing, the best instructional methods to promote academic achievement are frequently examined. The purpose of this study was to examine whether implementation of the Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) model in a high school ...

Equivalence between Approximate Dynamic Inversion and Proportion-Integral Control [PDF]
Approximate Dynamic Inversion (ADI) has been established as a method to control minimum-phase, nonaffine-in-control systems. Previous results have shown that for single-input nonaffine-in-control systems, every ADI controller admits a linear Proportional-
