The Transition to Post-industrial BMI Values Among US Children [PDF]
In our opinion, the trend in the BMI values of US children has not been estimated accurately. We use five models to estimate the BMI trends of non-Hispanic US-born black and white children and adolescents ages 2-19 born 1941-2006 on the basis of all NHES

Prenatal Exposure to Traffic Pollution and Childhood Body Mass Index Trajectory
Background: Limited evidence suggests an association between prenatal exposure to traffic pollution and greater adiposity in childhood, but the time window during which growth may be most affected is not known. Methods: We studied 1,649 children in ...

TrxR2 deletion in diabetic mice suppresses TUFM‐AMPK‐FUNDC1‐dependent mitophagy in endothelial cells, resulting in SCP2 upregulation and mitochondrial translocation of ACSL4. Mitochondrial ACSL4 promotes mitochondrial eicosanoid biosynthesis and ferroptosis, thereby aggravating cardiac microvascular injury and diabetic cardiomyopathy.

This study investigates how CTCs survive varying shear stress during hematogenous metastasis. We uncover a self‐protection mechanism, by which non‐adherent CTCs adapt to high shearing milieu through accumulated cytoplasmic myosin‐mediated disruption of myosin‐actin binding, attenuating force transmission into chromatin to protect CTCs from shear ...
