In Spain, one in ten people have some type of disability, according to the latest State Database on Persons with Disabilities, updated in 2016. This study shows that in Spain there are 277,472 individuals with a degree of intellectual disability recognized equal or superior to 33%, of which 57% are men and 43% are women.
