A Parliament for All: Lessons from the Scottish Parliament's Gender‐Sensitive Audit
The Political Quarterly, EarlyView.Abstract In 2022, the Presiding Officer of the Scottish Parliament announced a gender‐sensitive parliament (GSP) audit of women's representation and participation. The audit made thirty‐four recommendations, including establishing a GSP Advisory Group to drive institutional change.

The Political Quarterly, EarlyView.Abstract This article argues that the current debate over defence spending in the United Kingdom is fundamentally flawed. Too much emphasis is being placed on preparing for a form of warfare with Russia that is unlikely to occur. As this article points out, the Russians actually want to avoid a traditional battlefield confrontation with NATO.
