Common Fixed Point Theorems for Novel Admissible Contraction with Applications in Fractional and Ordinary Differential Equations

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
In our work, we offer a novel idea of contractions, namely an (α,β,γ)P−contraction, to prove the existence of a coincidence point and a common fixed point in complete metric spaces.

Risk-Based Admissibility Assessment of Wind Generation Integrated into a Bulk Power System [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Sustainable Energy, 2015
The increasing integration of large-scale volatile and uncertain wind generation has brought great challenges to power system operations. In this paper, a risk-based admissibility assessment approach is proposed to quantitatively evaluate how much wind ...

Design and Prototyping of Topology‐Optimized, Additively Manufactured Lightweight Components for Space Robotic Systems: A Case Study

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The results demonstrate a simulation‐driven workflow that applies LSB topology optimization with additive manufacturing constraints to mission‐specific load cases, integrating European Cooperation for Space Standardization compliant verification and manufacturability to develop structurally efficient rover suspension components.

Admissibility and nonuniform polynomial dichotomies

open access: yesMathematische Nachrichten, 2018
For a general one‐sided nonautonomous dynamics defined by a sequence of linear operators, we consider the notion of a polynomial dichotomy with respect to a sequence of norms and we characterize it completely in terms of the admissibility of bounded ...

Interaction between Molten Al‐Killed Mn–B Steel and Carbon‐Bonded MgO Refractories Based on Recyclates

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
High‐temperature interactions between low‐sulfur Al‐killed Mn–B steel and MgO–C refractories (0 and 50 wt% recyclates) are studied via finger immersion tests (1600 °C). Surface‐active elements influence infiltration. MgO/CaS layer forms, along with spinel and calcium silicate.

Problems of using the results of administrative activities by the bodies of inquiry in cases of fires

open access: yesЮридический вестник Самарского университета
This article discusses the problem of using the results of administrative activities by the fire investigation authorities. This problem has been little studied and requires further research, despite the fact that the issue of using non-procedural ...

Statistical inference based on k-records [PDF]

open access: yesIranian Journal of Numerical Analysis and Optimization, 2008
In this paper, an extension of record models, well known as k-records, is considered. Bayesian estimation as well as prediction based on k-records are presented when the underlying distribution is assumed to have a general form. The proposed procedure is

A study on the admissibility of fractional singular systems with variable and constant delays

open access: yesMANAS: Journal of Engineering, 2023
This paper deals with fractional singular systems with mixed delays and several admissibility criteria are obtained by using Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals, model transformation, useful lemmas, zero equations and other well-known inequalities.

Golden‐Ratio–Guided Aperiodic Architected Metamaterials with Simultaneously Enhanced Strength and Toughness

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Guided by the golden ratio, a class of aperiodic architected metamaterials is introduced to address the intrinsic trade‐off between strength and toughness. By unifying local geometric heterogeneity with global order, the golden‐ratio‐guided aperiodic architecture promotes spatial delocalization of damage tolerence regions, leading to more tortuous ...
