Admissible classes of multivalent functions associated with Liu-Owa integral operator

open access: yesQuaestiones Mathematicae, 2019
In this paper we investigate some applications of second order differential subordination and superordination for classes of admissible functions associated with Liu-Owa integral operator. Additionally, differential sandwich-type results are obtained.Key

Admissibility of observation functionals

International Journal of Control, 1995
The concept of infinite-time admissibility of unbounded observation functionals is introduced. Under the assumption of exponential stability of the semigroup, it is equivalent to finite-time admissibility recently investigated in Weiss (1988 b, 1989). Necessary and sufficient criteria for admissibility are given.

Another look at admissible functions

Journal of Sound and Vibration, 1989
Abstract Problems associated with using global admissible functions in boundary value problems are discussed. It is shown that if care is not taken, it is possible to construct sets of trial functions that yield inaccurate results which take too long to converge.

Thyroid Function Screening in Acute Geropsychiatric Admissions

Annals of Clinical Psychiatry, 2000
Thyroid function abnormalities have been associated with psychiatric illness. Even though it is a common practice to assess thyroid function in geropsychiatric patients, a literature search for the past 10 years did not reveal any published studies of assessments of thyroid function abnormalities in acute geropsychiatric populations.

ADMISSION THYROID FUNCTION TESTING IN ELDERLY PATIENTS

Australian and New Zealand Journal of Medicine, 1986
Abstract The free thyroxine indeg (FTI) was measured in 307 elderly patients admitted to two geriatric units. The initial FTI was abnormal in 41 (13.3%), ieing raised in 27 and low in 14 patients. On further testing, these abnormalities were found to be either transient or of no clinical significance in 36 of the 41 patients (88%). Only five of the 307

POSITIVE HARMONIC FUNCTIONS IN UNIFORM AND ADMISSIBLE DOMAINS

Analysis, 1988
The authors prove inequalities for a class of functions, including positive harmonic functions, in various types of domain. Their most interesting inequalities involve the distance to the boundary of the domain. For example, for certain domains D (bounded uniform domains) in \(R^ n\) (n\(\geq 2)\) and for any positive harmonic function u in D, we have \

Admissibility of Function Spaces

1993
This section is concerned with sufficiency of the frequency domain conditions derived in Proposition 11.5 for admissibility of evolutionary integral equations on the line as well as on the existence of A-kernels and their properties. The main results cover subordinated equations, hyperbolic problems in Hilbert spaces, and parabolic problems in ...

Lung function and outcomes in emergency medical admissions

European Journal of Internal Medicine, 2019
We examine the ability of pre-existing measures of Forced Expiratory Volume in 1 s (FEV1), and Diffusion Capacity for Carbon Monoxide (DLCO) to determine the subsequent 30-day mortality outcome following unselected acute medical admission.Between 2002 and 2017, we studied all emergency medical admissions (106,586 episodes in 54,928 patients) of whom ...
