Consensus-finding is a ubiquitous paradigm in both A.I. and everyday life. Recently, a computational approach to consensus-finding has been introduced in the standard clausal Boolean logic framework. It captures non-contradictory fragments of the information conveyed by different agents such that these fragments do not logically conflict with any of ...

Although the stress at the moment of admission is very high for both patient and clinician, a careful examination may lead to the discovery of individual and systems insufficiencies, which, if corrected, will significantly improve patient care for both the identified patient and those who will follow.

I would like to address what seems to me to be a very disturbing trend from my vantage point as a primary care internist in a relatively isolated rural area approximately two hours in any direction from a referral center. To illustrate my problem, I report the following two cases.

We consider clockable ordinals for Infinite Time Turing Machines (ITTMs), i.e., halting times of ITTMs on the empty input. It is well-known that, in contrast to the writable ordinals, the set of clockable ordinals has ‘gaps’. In this paper, we show several results on gaps, mainly related to the admissible ordinals they may properly contain.
