Water/Fat Separated Echo Planar Time‐Resolved Imaging (WFS‐EPTI) for Distortion‐Free Multi‐Contrast MRI

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 96, Issue 2, Page 580-595, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose Echo‐planar time‐resolved imaging (EPTI) provides distortion‐ and T2/T2* blurring‐free multi‐echo/multi‐contrast imaging with fast speed, making it an efficient acquisition method for various MRI applications. Here, we aim to achieve water–fat separation for EPTI to improve fat signal removal for brain/body imaging applications. Theory

Federated Smoothing ADMM for Localization

open access: yesCoRR
This paper addresses the challenge of localization in federated settings, which are characterized by distributed data, non-convexity, and non-smoothness. To tackle the scalability and outlier issues inherent in such environments, we propose a robust algorithm that employs an $\ell_1$-norm formulation within a novel federated ADMM framework.

Probabilistic multi-agent pose graph filtering on SE(3) via distributed ADMM and stein particle gradient descent

open access: yesSICE Journal of Control, Measurement, and System Integration
This paper proposes a novel distributed probabilistic pose graph filtering framework on SE(3). It integrates ADMM with Stein Variational Gradient Descent (SVGD) to address multi-modal, non-Gaussian posteriors in multi-robot SLAM.

Large Scale Resource Allocation for the Internet of Things Network Based on ADMM

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Large scale deployment of Internet of Things (IoT) devices poses challenges in resource allocation. In this paper, alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) is adopted to solve such large scale resource allocation problems.

FlowVN Trained on a Single Dataset Enables Rapid Reconstruction of Highly Accelerated 4D Flow MRI Across Multiple Sites

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 96, Issue 1, Page 374-386, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose The aim of this study is to evaluate a deep variational network, FlowVN, for the reconstruction of heavily undersampled 4D Flow MRI across multiple sites. Methods FlowVN was trained on fully sampled 4D Flow MRI datasets of healthy volunteers from one site. The model was tested on retrospective undersampled data (R = 6–22) of six normal

Sparse Array Beamformer Design via ADMM

open access: yes, 2022
In this paper, we devise a sparse array design algorithm for adaptive beamforming. Our strategy is based on finding a sparse beamformer weight to maximize the output signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR). The proposed method uses the alternating

Upscaling the Strength Domain of Heterogeneous Cohesive‐Frictional Materials via a General FFT‐Based Limit Analysis Approach

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, Volume 127, Issue 12, 30 June 2026.
ABSTRACT Limit analysis and yield design provide a well‐defined mathematical framework for upscaling the strength properties of heterogeneous materials. These techniques can be incorporated into an FFT‐based computational micromechanics framework to evaluate the strength of heterogeneous materials, based on images of their microstructure.

Low‐Carbon Optimal Scheduling of Multiple Virtual Power Plants Based on Asymmetric Nash Bargaining

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, Volume 14, Issue 6, Page 2874-2896, June 2026.
ABSTRACT To effectively investigate the structural discrepancies and complementary energy characteristics among multiple virtual power plants (VPPs), and to improve the economic efficiency, low‐carbon performance, and operational reliability of the multi‐agent system, this paper proposes a low‐carbon collaborative optimal operation strategy for ...
