Matrine–Tea Saponin Synergism Involves Suppressed Detoxification and Digestion in a Leaf Beetle

Tea saponin and matrine showed synergistic toxicity against Plagiodera versicolora. Combined exposure suppressed digestion‐ and detoxification‐related processes, while silencing the trypsin gene Pver105950 and chitinase gene Pver001190 increased larval susceptibility to tea saponin and matrine, respectively.

Elevated CO2 and Temperature Alter Grass Pollen's Ability to Modify Transcriptome and Function of the Nasal Epithelium

We exposed human nasal epithelial tissues to pollen from grasses grown under different climate treatments (temperature and CO2). Pollen weakened epithelial tight junctions and altered cytokine‐related gene expression, with similar protein‐level effects.
