An algorithm for Adomian decomposition method

Applied Mathematics and Computation, 2004
The decomposition method, proposed by \textit{G. Adomian} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 102, 420--434 (1984; Zbl 0554.60065)], used initially to solve partial differential equations, has been extended to solve a wide class of problems: linear and nonlinear deterministic and stochastic problems, from physics, biology and chemical reactions.

Adomian’s decomposition method for eigenvalue problems

Physical Review E, 2005
We extend the Adomian's decomposition method to work for the general eigenvalue problems, in addition to the existing applications of the method to boundary and initial value problems with nonlinearity. We develop the Hamiltonian inverse iteration method which will provide the ground state eigenvalue and the explicit form eigenfunction within a few ...

NEW APPROACH OF THE ADOMIAN DECOMPOSITION METHOD

International Journal of Numerical Methods and Applications, 2017
Summary: In this paper, we develop a new approach inspired by Adomian's decomposition method and the constants method to solve Volterra's second kind linear integral equations.

A modified Adomian's decomposition method

Journal of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, 1998
In some domain \(\Omega\) the authors consider a nonlinear boundary value problem for the unknown functions \(\big\{u_i\big\}_{i=1}^n\) \[ \begin{gathered} L_iu_i + R_i(u_1,\dots,u_n) + N_i(u_1,\dots,u_n) = g_i,\quad i=1,\dots,n,\\ L_i = \frac{\partial^{k_i}}{\partial\xi^{k_i}},\quad g_i = \sum_{j=0}^\infty g_{ij}\xi^j, \end{gathered}\tag{1} \] with ...

A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF ADOMIAN DECOMPOSITION METHOD AND VARIATIONAL ITERATION METHOD

Universal Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2022
Summary: In this paper, we present a comparative study between the variational iteration method and the Adomian decomposition method. The study highlights the significant features of both the methods. The analysis is illustrated by working out some problems on ordinary and partial differential equations.

Adomian’s decomposition method for electromagnetically induced transparency

Physical Review E, 2005
We developed the Adomian's decomposition method to work for the electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) problem. The method is general and capable to solve the coupled nonlinear partial differential equations for a light pulse passing through a three-level -type coherent medium.
