Parotid metastasis from adrenal neuroblastoma

Neuroblastomas are the most common extracranial solid malignancy in children. In contrast, salivary gland tumors are uncommon in children, accounting for only 1% of all pediatric neoplasms. Parotid metastases are rare; only two cases of parotid metastases from neuroblastomas have been reported with an emphasis on the pathology.

Adrenal metastasis in renal cell carcinoma

Abstract Adrenal metastases in renal cell carcinoma are not uncommon in autopsy series. An incidence of 19 per cent has been reported. The diagnosis of adrenal metastases clinically is rare. Two cases, one of an ipsilateral metastasis and one of a contralateral metastasis, are presented, and the literature is reviewed.

Cervical spine metastasis from adrenal pheochromocytoma

Metastatic tumours are the most common type of tumours in the spine of which only 10% occur in the cervical spine. We report a rare presentation of metastatic pheochromocytoma of the cervical spine which was successfully treated operatively. Adequate precautions should be taken during surgery as the tumour is very vascular.
