Adsorbing and Non-adsorbing Strains of Mycoplasma bovirhinis

Zentralblatt für Veterinärmedizin Reihe B, 2010
Summary Of three prototype strains of Mycoplasma bovirhinis examined for their ability to adsorb sheep erythrocytes, two (CCM M-22 and TH) showed positive haemadsorption whereas one strain (N. C. T. C. 10 118) failed to adsorb sheep erythrocytes. The original classification of strain CCM M-22 as M.

Localized adsorbate—adsorbent interactions on florisil

Journal of Chromatography A, 1984
Abstract Localized adsorbate—adsorbent interactions were investigated by studying equilibrium adsorption of pyridine and n -butylamine on Florisil. The discontinuity of the Langmuir isotherms and heat of adsorption of pyridine were analyzed by the “patch” theory of adsorption on heterogeneous surfaces.

Radiogauge for adsorbate concentration in adsorbent bed

Nuclear Instruments and Methods, 1976
Abstract A photon transmission gauge employed for the measurement of adsorbate concentration in adsorbent bed and its uptake were analyzed. The gauge's responses and uncertainties were derived. The relative resolving power functions of the gauge were used to obtain the optimal photon energy and source emission rate.

STRESSES AND STRAINS IN ADSORBENT–ADSORBATE SYSTEMS

Canadian Journal of Chemistry, 1954
From thermodynamic considerations a simple equation is derived which correlates length changes of a porous rigid adsorbent with its elastic and adsorptive properties. The equation contains a structure factor which is a constant characteristic of the adsorbent.

Thermodesorption studies on adsorbate-adsorbent interaction

Surface Science, 1968
Abstract A scheme is described for chromatographic thermodesorption apparatus and experimental conditions to obtain information on adsorbate-adsorbent interaction are presented. The effects of temperature conditions, amount of substance, and heating rate are discussed.
