Thermodesorption studies on adsorbate-adsorbent interaction
Surface Science, 1968Abstract A scheme is described for chromatographic thermodesorption apparatus and experimental conditions to obtain information on adsorbate-adsorbent interaction are presented. The effects of temperature conditions, amount of substance, and heating rate are discussed.

Adsorbing and Non-adsorbing Strains of Mycoplasma bovirhinis
Zentralblatt für Veterinärmedizin Reihe B, 2010Summary Of three prototype strains of Mycoplasma bovirhinis examined for their ability to adsorb sheep erythrocytes, two (CCM M-22 and TH) showed positive haemadsorption whereas one strain (N. C. T. C. 10 118) failed to adsorb sheep erythrocytes. The original classification of strain CCM M-22 as M.

Adsorbate-adsorbate association on a homogenous surface of a nonspecific adsorbent
Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 1972Abstract Various methods for calculating the degree of association of molecules adsorbed on a homogeneous surface of an adsorbent have been examined. Equations for the isotherms and heats of adsorption and heat capacity of the adsorbate have been derived using a model of chain association of the molecules parallel to the surface in the first layer ...

Quantum interference and long-range adsorbate-adsorbate interactions
Physical Review B, 2003Density functional theory and scanning tunneling microscopy are used to resolve the long-range adsorbate interactions between Co adatoms on Cu~111!, caused by the quantum interference of surface-state electrons. Our calculations and experimental results are in very good quantitative agreement. We reveal the effect of the quantum interference of surface

Adsorbate–surface and adsorbate–adsorbate interactions and their role in surface reactions
Journal of Vacuum Science & Technology A: Vacuum, Surfaces, and Films, 1985By studying trends in the interaction energies of atoms and molecules with metal surfaces as the metal is changed or the surface is modified by adsorbed impurities, two important surface properties affecting the adsorption or catalytic activity have been uncovered.
