The plasma edge of transparent conducting oxide SrNbO3 shifts from ∼2 eV in the visible range to 1.37 eV in the near‐infrared region by off‐stoichiometry using the vacancy sites as quasi‐substitutional virtual elements. This work advances the stoichiometry engineering of perovskite oxides using oxide molecular beam epitaxy, allowing synthesis beyond ...

Study mass transfer of Cd, Hg, As, DDT and chlordane through adsorption onto granular activated carbon [PDF]
The kinetic theory of liquid indicates that diffusion coefficient for the dilute liquid at ordinary pressure is essentially independent of mixture composition. Mass transfer is important in separation and adsorption process.

Elucidating Sodium Ion Storage Mechanisms in Hard Carbon Anodes at the Electronic Level
High‐resolution, multi‐frequency continuous wave, and pulsed Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) spectroscopy uncover the intricate Na ion storage mechanisms in hard carbon. This study reveals the coexistence of Na ion intercalation and solvent co‐intercalation, alongside a subsequent transition of Na ions from ionic to quasi‐metallic to metallic ...
