Zeolitic Imidazolate Frameworks as H_2 Adsorbents: Ab Initio Based Grand Canonical Monte Carlo Simulation [PDF]
We report the H_2 uptake behavior of 10 zeolitic−imidazolate frameworks (ZIFs), based on grand canonical Monte Carlo (GCMC) simulations. The force fields (FFs) describing the interactions between H_2 and ZIF in the GCMC were based on ab initio quantum ...

Graded refractive index (GRI) structures are prepared from the layer‐by‐layer spray coating of the mesoporous SiO2 nanoparticles, showing high solar transparency and thermal emissivity. Under outdoor conditions, after 50 days, the GRI‐coated photovoltaics show on average 6.65 ± 1.48 °C lower than that of the non‐coated references, maintaining 80.9 ± 8 ...

Interfacial adsorption of insulin
The adsorption of human insulin to Teflon particles was studied with respect to conformational changes and the reversibility of adsorption was examined by total internal reflection fluorescence (TIRF). Adsorption isotherms for the adsorption of human insulin indicated high affinity adsorption, even at electrostatic repulsive conditions.

Nano‐Patterned CuO Nanowire Nanogap Hydrogen Gas Sensor with Voids
Sub‐5‐ppb hydrogen (H2) detection and sub‐10‐s response and recovery times are achieved based on nano‐patterned polycrystalline CuO nanowires nanogap gas sensors with voids using electron‐beam lithography and unique annealing processes. Pre‐H2 annealing, void‐generating oxidation, and downscaled nanogap electrodes are key to improving the sensing ...

In this work, a magnetic core‐shell catalyst (HOF‐on‐Fe3O4/ZIF‐67) is successfully synthesized, consisting of a metal–organic framework (ZIF‐67) with magnetic Fe3O4 as the core and a porous hydrogen‐bonded organic framework (HOF) as the shell. The catalyst efficiently activated peroxymonosulfate, resulting in rapid and effective removal of water ...
