New polymolecular adsorption isotherm

Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 1991
Abstract A new polymolecular adsorption isotherm is proposed. Its principal advantage is that, unlike the known isotherms, it is qualitatively adequate in limiting cases, can be derived from a consistent realistic model, and fits the experimental data in a broad concentration range.

Adsorption Isotherms. Critical Conditions

Mathematical Proceedings of the Cambridge Philosophical Society, 1936
1. In a recent note I showed that Langmuir's adsorption isothermwhere θ is the fraction of the surface covered by adsorbed gas, p the gas pressure in equilibrium with it, and A (T) a specified function of the temperature, can be derived as a theorem in statistical mechanics without any appeal to the mechanism of deposition and re-evaporation. Adsorption isotherm of solute

This experiment aimed to study the adsorption isotherm of dissolved substances by understanding the factors influencing adsorption, types of adsorption, and the application of adsorption isotherm equations such as Langmuir, Freundlich, and BET. The method used involved preparing a series of oxalic acid (H₂C₂O₄) solutions with different concentrations ...
