Gas adsorption/desorption in silica aerogels: a theoretical study of scattering properties
We present a numerical study of the structural correlations associated to gas adsorption/desorption in silica aerogels in order to provide a theoretical interpretation of scattering experiments. Following our earlier work, we use a coarse-grained lattice-

Transition metal oxy/carbo‐nitrides show great promise as catalysts for sustainable processes. A Mn‐Mo mixed‐metal oxynitride attains remarkable performance for the direct synthesis of acetonitrile, an important commodity chemical, via sequential C─N and C─C coupling from syngas (C1) and ammonia (N1) feedstocks.

Accurate Fit and Thermochemical Analysis of the Adsorption Isotherms of Methane in Zeolite 13X
The recovery of methane from landfill gases and coal mines has become of the utmost importance because methane has a global-climate warming potential much higher than that of carbon dioxide.

Adsorption Isotherms of Hydrogen: The Role of Thermal Fluctuations
It is shown that experimentally obtained isotherms of adsorption on solid substrates may be completely reconciled with Lifshitz theory when thermal fluctuations are taken into account. This is achieved within the framework of a solid-on-solid model which

Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.

Solvent‐Free Thermal Defect Engineering in Molecular Frameworks With Volatile Linkers
Thermal removal of neutral volatile linkers enables precise and solvent‐free generation of metal vacancies in MOFs. This strategy affords redox‐stable, coordinatively unsaturated FeII sites with tunable spin, ligand coordination, and catalytic behavior. The approach offers a general route to design defect‐functional materials through local coordination

Adsorption models of hybridization and post-hybridisation behaviour on oligonucleotide microarrays
Analysis of data from an Affymetrix Latin Square spike-in experiment indicates that measured fluorescence intensities of features on an oligonucleotide microarray are related to spike-in RNA target concentrations via a hyperbolic response function ...
