Determination of aluminium in tree samples by cathodic adsorptive stripping voltammetry

Talanta, 1997
This paper presents a method of determination of aluminium in tree samples (wood, leaves, roots) based on the cathodic adsorptive stripping voltammetry. Al(III) complexed with alizarin S was determined by ASV method using a hanging mercury drop electrode.

Behavior of Different Metal/Ligand Systems in Adsorptive Cathodic Stripping Voltammetry

Electroanalysis, 1999
The behavior of a series of metal/ligand systems in adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetry was investigated. Attention was focused on two groups of ligands, namely seven naphthalene-hydroxy-azo sulfonic species and four quinolines. The behavior of the free ligands and of their complexes with four metal ions, namely Cd(II), Mn(II), Ni(II) and Pb(II),

Determination of aflatoxins B1 and B2 by adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetry in groundnut

Food Chemistry, 2009
Abstract In this study, adsorptive stripping voltammetry was proposed for determination of aflatoxins B1 (AFB1) and B2 (AFB2) using hanging mercury drop electrode (HMDE) as the working electrode. Both aflatoxins were found to adsorb and undergo irreversible reduction reaction at the working mercury electrode.

A study of the determination of the hypertensive drug captopril by square wave cathodic adsorptive stripping voltammetry

Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, 2003
In this work, the determination of captopril (CPL) was studied by square wave cathodic adsorptive stripping voltammetry (SWCAdSV) on a hanging mercury drop electrode (HMDE). CPL was adsorptively preconcentrated on the mercury surface as a sparingly soluble mercury salt under stirring of the solution and then the accumulated species was reduced by a ...

Determination of selenium in seawater by adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetry

Deep Sea Research Part B. Oceanographic Literature Review, 1990
Abstract A procedure is presented for determining Se(IV) and total dissolved Se in sea water using cathodic stripping voltammetry in the presence of added copper. Experiments using cyclic voltammetry indicate that the preconcentration step consists in adsorption of a Cu(I)2Se complex species on the hanging mercury drop electrode.

Cathodic stripping voltammetry and adsorptive stripping voltammetry of selenium(IV)

Analytica Chimica Acta, 1988
Abstract Cathodic stripping voltammetry of selenium(IV) in 0.1 M hydrochloric acid media yielded a nonlinear calibration graph for the concentration range 10−9−10−8 M. In this concentration range, adsorptive stripping voltammetry based on adsorption of the selenium/3,3′-diaminobenzidine complex on the surface of the hanging mercury drop electrode at ...
