Rapid adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetry of zinc complexes in sea water

Analytica Chimica Acta, 1993
The effects of the potential scan speed on the adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetric determination of zinc-tetramethylenedithiocarbamate complexes in sea water were investigated. It was observed that an increase in scan speed increases the peak height and peak width, shifts the peak potential towards negative values and increases the capacitance ...

Adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetry determination of ultra trace levels of cobalt

Transition Metal Chemistry, 2009
The complexation of Co(II) with 4-(2-pyridylazo)resorcinol (PAR) was studied by spectroscopy and voltammetry. In addition, an adsorptive stripping voltammetric method was developed for the determination of ultra trace levels of Co(II) using a hanging mercury drop electrode.

Determinationation of kanamycin by square-wave cathodic adsorptive stripping voltammetry

Russian Journal of Electrochemistry, 2008
A square-wave cathodic adsorptive stripping voltametric (SWCASV) method for the determination of kanamycin was developed on a thin-film mercury electrode (TFME). The optimal working conditions for the application of the method were found to be pH 8.0, provided by a Britton-Robinson (B.R.) buffer, and an adsorption potential of +0.30 V during 300 s. The

Assay of dipyridamole in human serum using cathodic adsorptive square-wave stripping voltammetry

Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, 2002
A rapid and sensitive square-wave voltammetric procedure was optimized for the determination of dipyridamole after its adsorption preconcentration onto a hanging mercury drop electrode. The peak current of the first of the two peaks developed for this drug in Britton-Robinson buffer at pH 8.0 has been considered for the present analytical study.

Advantages of using a mercury coated, micro-wire, electrode in adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetry

Analytica Chimica Acta, 2006
A mercury coated, gold, micro-wire electrode is used here for the determination of iron in seawater by catalytic cathodic stripping voltammetry (CSV) with a limit of detection of 0.1 nM Fe at a 60s adsorption time. It was found that the electrode surface is stable for extended periods of analyses (at least five days) and that it is reactivated by ...

Cathodic adsorptive stripping voltammetry of drotaverine hydrochloride and its determination in tablets and human urine by differential pulse voltammetry

Bioelectrochemistry, 2009
The stripping voltammetric behaviour of drotaverine hydrochloride (DvCl) was studied using a hanging mercury drop electrode (HMDE). The adsorptive stripping response has been evaluated with respect to pH, accumulation time, accumulation potential, scan rate and other variables.

Square-wave voltammetry of a cathodic stripping reaction complicated by adsorption of the reacting ligand

Analytica Chimica Acta, 1999
A model of the cathodic stripping process of an insoluble mercuric salt precipitated on the mercury electrode surface and complicated by adsorption of the reacting ligand, is developed under conditions of square-wave voltammtry (SWV). The adsorption isotherm of the reacting ligand is supposed to be linear.

Determination of thiram in water and soils by cathodic stripping voltammetry based on adsorptive accumulation

Fresenius' Zeitschrift für analytische Chemie, 1988
A very sensitive electrochemical stripping procedure for thiram is reported. Accumulation is achieved by adsorption of the compound on the hanging mercury drop electrode. Optimal experimental parameters include an accumulation potential of −0.2 V vs. Ag/AgCl, a 0.075 mol/l ammonia solution as supporting electrolyte and a differential pulse stripping ...

Determination of folic acid in sea water using adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetry

Analytica Chimica Acta, 1993
Folic acid is of biological origin and occurs ubiquitously in the natural system. Very little is known about its likely occurrence and distribution in natural waters. A voltammetric method is proposed to determine folic acid in sea and estuarine waters.
