Some functional differential equations with both retarded and advanced arguments
In this paper we shall study a functional differential equation of mixed type. This equation is a generalization of some equations from medicine. Related to this equation we study the existence of the solution by contraction's principle and Schauder's ...

On advanced functional differential equations with properties \(A\) and \(B\)
The authors give new oscillation results for the \(n\)th-order functional-differential equation \[ u^{(n)}(t)=(-1)^k \int_{\tau_0(t)}^{\tau(t)} f(u(s))d_s p(s,t), \] with \(n\geq 2,~ k\in\{1,2\},~ \tau(t)\geq \tau_0(t)\geq t.\) Particular cases of this equation are the following advanced differential equations: \[ u^{(n)}(t)=(-1)^k \sum_{j=1}^m p_j(t ...

Mutant p53R273H disrupts PDPK1 homodimerization and contributes to PDPK1 activation
How mutant p53R273H drives AKT signaling is unclear. We show that p53R273H, but not wild‐type, directly binds PDPK1 via a mutation‐dependent conformational change. This interaction disrupts inhibitory PDPK1 homodimerization and enhances AKT phosphorylation.

Boundary value problems for the diffusion equation with piecewise continuous time delay
A study is made of partial differential equations with piecewise constant arguments. Boundary value problems for three types of equations are discussed delayed; alternately of advanced and retarded type; and most importantly, an equation of neutral type (

Targeting the EpCAM‐AXL axis to overcome drug resistance in lung cancer
Lung cancer cells often evade therapy by hijacking signaling pathways. We reveal that cleaved EpCAM (sEpCAM) stabilizes the oncogenic protein AXL, driving NF‐κB and STAT3‐mediated chemoresistance. This EpCAM‐AXL axis identifies a high‐risk patient subset with poor prognosis.

The following differential equation u(n)(t)+p(t)|u(σ(t))|μ(t) sign u(σ(t))=0 is considered. Here p∈Lloc(R+;R+), μ∈C(R+;(0,+∞)), σ∈C(R+;R+), σ(t)≤t, and limt→+∞σ(t)=+∞.

Reprogramming tumor cells with LCOR mRNA nanotherapy to enhance immunotherapy
LCOR (Ligand‐dependent corepressor) mRNA encapsulated in polymeric nanoparticles restores LCOR activity in tumor cells, constraining aggressive tumor cell states and increasing tumor immunogenicity. This reprogramming makes tumor cells more vulnerable to T‐cell attack and enhances their response to immune‐checkpoint immunotherapy.

This paper shows that size‐exclusion chromatography and sequential centrifugation applied to seminal plasma enrich for different populations of extracellular vesicles. This may significantly affect the detection and analysis of extracellular vesicle‐associated cancer biomarkers.
