This research is about development of upcycled yarn from textile waste. The results demonstrate that RDFW can be successfully incorporated into yarn production, maintaining comparable tensile strength and uniformity, while reducing waste and resource consumption also save up to 22,000 L of water and 1.2 kg of CO2 per kilogram of cotton.

Impact of the Bijective Relationship between Single and Bundle Cotton Fiber’s in Cotton Breeding Programs [PDF]
In this chapter, we focus on the relationship between fibers’ mechanical properties and yarns’ ones by studying their relative behavior and the relationship between single and bundle cotton fibers (respectively, dispositions 1 and 2).

Analysis of Short Fiber Measurements Calculated from the Length Distribution from an HVI Fibrogram
Cotton fiber length is one of the most important fiber quality attributes, as it has a direct impact on the quality of spun yarn. Of particular interest is information regarding the shorter fibers in the sample, as research has shown that shorter fibers ...

A Numerical Alternative to MR Thermometry for Safety Validation of Multi‐Channel RF Transmit Coils
ABSTRACT Purpose This study proposes a numerical technique to estimate peak local specific absorption rate (SAR) uncertainty of multi‐channel RF coils during the process of safety validation as an alternative to experimental temperature and electric‐field measurements, and demonstrates its use to enable human studies at 10.5 T.

Investigation of Naturally Coloured Cotton of Different Origin – Analysis of Fibre Properties [PDF]
Naturally coloured cotton is naturally pigmented fibre that grows in shades of brown and green. Because the colour is present in the fibres, fabrics made of them do not have to be dyed. The elimination of the dyeing process can save up to one half of the

Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma‐Risk Factors, Diagnosis, Treatment, and Prevention
ABSTRACT Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) usually originates from the precancerous lesions of oral mucosa and accounts for approximately 90% of oral cancers. In‐depth understanding of pathogenesis, hallmarks, and etiological factors is a crucial prerequisite for advancing the diagnosis and treatment for OSCC patients. This review aims to present the
