Fuzzy Logic Inverter Controller in Photovoltaic Applications: Issues and Recommendations

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Fossil fuels and other conventional energy sources used to generate electricity are finite. Therefore, alternative energy sources should be pursued to meet present and future energy demands.

Towards the use of Unbundle Smart Meter for advanced inverters integration [PDF]

open access: yes2017 IEEE 26th International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (ISIE), 2017
The Smart Grid (SG) implementation requires a constant monitoring and control of the power network. An Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) allows the Distribution System Operator (DSO) to know what is happening on the power network. However, existing smart meters are not prepared for an emerging energy market nor to be integrated with LV/MV dispatch

Enteropathogenic E. coli shows delayed attachment and host response in human jejunum organoid‐derived monolayers compared to HeLa cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Highly Efficient Transformerless Inverter with Flying-Capacitor Buck–Boost for Single-Phase Grid-Connected PV Systems

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
Grid-connected inverters (GCI) are commonly used in PV system applications to generate a regulated AC current to feed into the grid. Transformerless inverters are the most advanced inverters that are used in industry, which provide efficiency with ...

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Coordination of smart inverter-enabled distributed energy resources for optimal PV-BESS integration and voltage stability in modern power distribution networks: A systematic review and bibliometric analysis

open access: yese-Prime: Advances in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Energy
Integrating photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS) in modern power distribution networks presents opportunities and challenges, particularly in maintaining voltage stability and optimizing energy resources. This systematic review and

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Close-Loop Current Control With Current-Sensing Resistor for Electromagnet Driven by Full-Bridge PWM Inverter

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
The full-bridge pulse-width-modulation (PWM) inverter is wildly applied to drive the electromagnet and enables advanced technologies, such as the active magnetic bearing (AMB) and the permanent-electro magnetic suspension (PEMS).

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.
