Effect of plant growth regulators on adventitious rooting of Rosa canina L. and Rosa hybrida L.

open access: yesTạp chí Khoa học Đại học Mở Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh - Kỹ thuật và Công nghệ, 2018
Plant growth regulators including Indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), Indole-3-butyric acid (IBA), 1-Napthalene acetic acid (NAA) and 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic (2,4-D) at different concentrations were used to induce adventitious rooting

Screening and phenotypic identification of auxin-resistant root system mutants in rice (Oryza sativa L.)

open access: yes浙江大学学报. 农业与生命科学版, 2018
According to the inhibitory effect of exogenous auxin analog (2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, 2,4-D) treatment on primary root growth, 188 independent candidate mutant lines were screened out from 60Co-γ mediated radiation mutagenesis pool in rice (Oryza

Role of adventitious roots in water relations of tamarack (Larix laricina) seedlings exposed to flooding

open access: yesBMC Plant Biology, 2012
Background Flooding reduces supply of oxygen to the roots affecting plant water uptake. Some flooding-tolerant tree species including tamarack (Larix laricina (Du Roi) K. Koch) produce adventitious roots in response to flooding. These roots were reported

The study of plant regeneration from root explants of Jatropha curcas and origin of adventitious shoots

open access: yes四川大学学报. 自然科学版, 2019
In order to overcome the shortcomings of the existing propagation technology of Jatropha curcas, adventitious buds were induced from the adventitious root explants of cotyledon and radicle explants respectively.

Lead movement in poplar adventitious roots

open access: yesBiologia Plantarum, 1990
Lead was detected and located in definite regions of thePopulus adventitious roots with the light microscope. Incubations of 24, 48, and 72 h in solutions of Pb(NO3)2 resulted in clear sequences of microscopic images. Interpretation of these images allows the construction of a scheme for lead transport pathways in roots.
