The adversarial principle, the evolution and current shape of civil procedure – outline of subject matter

open access: yesPrzegląd Prawniczy Uniwersytetu im. Adama Mickiewicza, 2013
The adversarial principle has a long tradition in Polish civil procedure. It was one of the main principles under the Polish Civil Procedure Code of 1930.

Stabilizing switched linear systems under adversarial switching

open access: yes2015 54th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC), 2015
The problem of stabilizing discrete-time switched linear control systems using continuous input by the user and against adversarial switching by an adversary is studied. It is assumed that the adversary has the advantage in that at each time it knows the user's decision on the continuous control input but not vice versa.

Design and Optimization of Full‐Stokes Hyperspectro‐Polarimetric Encoding Metasurfaces Based on Conditional Multi‐Task Deep Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A conditional multi‐task deep learning framework is developed for designing and optimizing Full‐Stokes Hyperspectro‐Polarimetric Encoding Metasurfaces (FHPEMs). This framework achieves joint spectro‐polarimetric learning and unified forward–inverse design.

A knowledge distillation strategy for enhancing the adversarial robustness of lightweight automatic modulation classification models

open access: yesIET Communications
Automatic modulation classification models based on deep learning models are at risk of being interfered by adversarial attacks. In an adversarial attack, the attacker causes the classification model to misclassify the received signal by adding carefully

Concealable and Field‐Free Physical Unclonable Function Based on Voltage‐Controlled Magnetic Tunnel Junctions

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A concealable physical unclonable function (PUF) based on an array of 384 nanoscale voltage‐controlled magnetic tunnel junctions is demonstrated. The PUF operates without any external magnetic field. It uses a combination of deterministic and stochastic switching mechanisms, based on the spin transfer torque and voltage‐controlled magnetic anisotropy ...

Experimental validation of the RESPONSE framework against cyberattacks on cyber‐physical process systems

open access: yesAIChE Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract This work experimentally validates the RESPONSE (Resilient Process cONtrol SystEm) framework as a solution for maintaining safe, continuous operation of cyber‐physical process systems under cyberattacks. RESPONSE implements a dual‐loop architecture that runs a networked online controller in parallel with a hard‐isolated offline controller ...
