Fate of phthalic acid esters during composting of both lagooning and activated sludges [PDF]
Among the phthalic acid esters (PAEs) targeted by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) as priority pollutants, di-ethyl-hexyl phthalate (DEHP) is the major pollutant identified at high concentration level in lagooning sludge (LS), at

Identification of Oxygen-Responsive Transcripts in the Silage Inoculant Lactobacillus buchneri CD034 by RNA Sequencing. [PDF]
The Lactobacillus buchneri CD034 strain, known to improve the ensiling process of green fodder and the quality of the silage itself was transcriptionally analyzed by sequencing of transcriptomes isolated under anaerobic vs. aerobic conditions.

Early-stage anaerobic zone formation by organic eluate from wood in soil
When separated soil (SS) generated from the Great East Japan Earthquake, which contains woodchips and others (WC), is utilized as ground material, microorganisms decompose the organic carbon in WC, and oxygen is consumed in the process.

An Experimental Study of Microorganic Aerobic and Anaerobic Decomposition of Seaweed
