This study reveals that chronic alcohol exposure selectively upregulates ACSL1 expression in prefrontal cortical microglia, driving lipid metabolism reprogramming and lipid droplet accumulation, which activates the NLRP3 inflammasome and sustains neuroinflammation. To reverse this process, a dual‐targeted lipid nanoparticle, siACSL1@LNP‐MR, is designed

Exploring Physiology and Body Traits of Finswimming Athletes and Trained Swimmers
In practical situations, athletes often face certain limitations in the transition to finswimming. Consequently, coaching procedures focus on the conversion of trained-swimmers into finswimming athletes. This study aimed to conduct a comparative analysis

The Effects and Differences of Sprint Interval Training, Endurance Training and the Training Types Combined on Physiological Parameters and Exercise Performance [PDF]
Sprint Interval Training (SIT) is a time efficient way in order to elicit similar changes as Endurance Training (ET) on aerobic capacity, with the purpose of the exercise training to alter physiological systems and exceed resting homeostasis to improve ...

Association among 2-min step test, functional level and diagnosis of dementia
. Aerobic capacity declines significantly throughout life, beginning at the age of 30 years and accelerating from 60 years, where a decline of 17% per decade is expected thereafter.

The study identifies a NIPAL1‐driven metabolic‐epigenetic circuit in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma that promotes glycolysis, lactate accumulation, and H3K18 histone lactylation, forming a self‐sustaining loop that suppresses CD8+ T cell immunity.

Effects of Kettlebell Training on Aerobic Capacity
This study examined the effects of a kettlebell training program on aerobic capacity. Seventeen female National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I collegiate soccer players (age: 19.7 ± 1.0 years, height: 166.1 ± 6.4 cm, weight: 64.2 ± 8.2 kg) completed a graded exercise test to determine maximal oxygen consumption (V̇O2max).

Upon NIR irradiation at 808 nm, the activity of TRPV4 was inhibited by M2M@BPSC, which led to reduced calcium influx, mitochondrial protection, and, importantly, the transcriptional activation of the STAT6‐EGR2 pathway. The improved macrophage function indirectly readjusts the equilibrium between C‐ECM and F‐ECM to reconstruct a suitable ...
