This study applies machine learning regression to predict chromium layer thickness in decorative trivalent chromium electroplating, using 441 experiments from laboratory‐scale (1L) and pilot‐scale (14L) setups. Tree‐based models, particularly CatBoost, outperformed linear regression by capturing nonlinear parameter interactions (R2$R^2$ up to 0.77 ...

Au/GaOx‐based transparent heaters combine high optical transmittance and low sheet resistance with exceptional thermal stability up to 521°C for over 6 h. The interfacial GaOx layer suppresses dewetting of Au and enhances adhesion, ensuring mechanical robustness during deformation and reliability for real‐world applications including grilling ...

Definition and discussion of the intrinsic efficiency of winglets [PDF]
Three simple equations are derived to define the “Intrinsic Aerodynamic Efficiency of Winglets” independent of the horizontal extension of the winglet and independent of the winglet’s (relative) height.

Aerodynamic drag in cycling pelotons: New insights by CFD simulation and wind tunnel testing
A cycling peloton is the main group of cyclists riding closely together to reduce aerodynamic drag and energy expenditure. Previous studies on small groups of in-line drafting cyclists showed reductions down to 70 to 50% the drag of an isolated rider at ...

Review on Aerodynamic Drag Reduction of Vehicles
Due to higher price, limited supply and negative impacts on environment by fossil fuel, automobile industries have directed their concentrations in reducing the fuel consumption of vehicles in order to achieve the lower aerodynamic drag. As a consequence,

A meniscus‐guided microtransfer molding strategy enables scalable fabrication of grid‐type molecular martensite films with b‐axis‐correlated preferential texture. Sequential growth across microchannel intersections creates structurally continuous grids and robust thermoelastic actuation (∼11% strain, > 50 cycles, maximum force density: 7.1 × 109 N m−3).

A tubular electrowetting pump moves alternating droplets through a millimeter‐wide channel in discrete, reversible steps, functioning as a fluidic stepper motor. With no moving parts and electrodes insulated from the liquid, it delivers silent, accurate flow. Flexibility allows the pump to be woven directly into textiles for wearable, medical, and soft‐
