Aerodynamic interference test of quad tilt rotor aircraft in wind tunnel
Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part G: Journal of Aerospace Engineering, 2019There is an obvious aerodynamic interference problem that occurs for a quad tilt rotor in near-ground hovering or in the conversion operating condition. This paper presents an aerodynamic interference test of the quad tilt rotor in a wind tunnel.

Aerodynamic interference of dissimilar aircraft flying in close proximity
Journal of Aircraft, 1996Introduction O Jan. 14, 1992, an F-14A aircraft experienced an unsafe landing gear indication prior to recovery at a Naval air station. The air crew requested a chase aircraft to conduct a visual inspection of their landing gear in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Numerical investigations on two-dimensional canard-wing aerodynamic interference
Journal of Aircraft, 1994A finite element method for solving of the Euler and Navier-Stokes equations is used to study the unsteady aerodynamics of a two-dimensional canard-wing aerodynamic interference. The method used a discontinuous finite element method for spatial discretization and an explicit Runge-Kutta time integration for temporal discretization.

Modelling of aerodynamic interference of three-DOF GyroWheel rotor
International Journal of Modelling, Identification and Control, 2018GyroWheel is an integrated mechanism which provides both attitude control torques and measurements of attitude angular rates for tiny spacecrafts. However, aerodynamic interference is inevitable in the process of ground test which hinders the improvement of the system performance.

AERODYNAMIC FLOW NOISE INTERFERENCE IN ACOUSTICALLY LINED DUCTS
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1971In the course of a study of the basic properties of acoustic linings for ducts transmitting air at high speeds, experimental evidence indicated that aerodynamic noise generated by the flowing air could limit the magnitude of noise attenuation inside the duct achievable by means of linings.

The aerodynamic interference characteristics of TSTO vehicle stage separation
2019Aerodynamic interference problems and stage separation problems are taken as the key technology for two stage to orbit (TSTO) vehicle. The research of aerodynamic interference characteristics and stage separation problems can make great contribution to development of TSTO reusable launch vehicle (RLV).
