Bacteriophages in the Control of Aeromonas sp. in Aquaculture Systems: An Integrative View. [PDF]
Aeromonas species often cause disease in farmed fish and are responsible for causing significant economic losses worldwide. Although vaccination is the ideal method to prevent infectious diseases, there are still very few vaccines commercially available in the aquaculture field.

Draft Genome Sequence of Aeromonas sp. Strain EERV15. [PDF]
ABSTRACT We report here the draft genome sequence of Aeromonas sp. strain EERV15 isolated from sand filter. The organism most closely related to Aeromonas sp. EERV15 is Aeromonas veronii B565, with an average 83% amino acid sequence similarity of putatively ...

Genome sequencing and annotation of Aeromonas sp. HZM. [PDF]
We report the draft genome sequence of Aeromonas sp. strain HZM, isolated from tropical peat swamp forest soil. The draft genome size is 4,451,364 bp with a G + C content of 61.7% and contains 10 rRNA sequences (eight copies of 5S rRNA genes, single copy of 16S and 23S rRNA each).

Aeromonas taiwanensis sp. nov. and Aeromonas sanarellii sp. nov., clinical species from Taiwan [PDF]
Two clinicalAeromonasstrains (A2-50Tand A2-67T) recovered from the wounds of two patients in Taiwan could not be assigned to any known species of this genus based on their 16S rRNA gene sequences, which showed similarities of 99.6–99.8 % to those of the type strains ofAeromonas caviae,A. trotaandA. aquariorum.

Cylindrospermopsin Biodegradation Abilities of Aeromonas sp. Isolated from Rusałka Lake. [PDF]
The occurrence of the cyanobacterial toxin cylindrospermopsin (CYN) in freshwater reservoirs is a common phenomenon. However, the biodegradation of this toxin in environmental samples has been observed only occasionally. In this work the biodegradation ability of cylindrospermopsin was investigated based on isolates from lakes with previous cyanotoxin ...

Aeromonas australiensis sp. nov., isolated from irrigation water [PDF]
A Gram-negative, facultatively anaerobic bacillus, designated strain 266T, was isolated from an irrigation water system in the south-west of Western Australia. Analysis of the 16S rRNA gene sequence confirmed that strain 266T belonged to the genus Aeromonas , with ...

Isolation of Aeromonas sp from faecal specimens. [PDF]

Aeromonas bivalvium sp. nov., isolated from bivalve molluscs [PDF]
A polyphasic study was performed to determine the taxonomic position of twoAeromonasstrains, 665N and 868ET, isolated from bivalve molluscs, that could not be identified at the species level in a previous numerical taxonomy study. The DNA G+C content of these isolates was 62.3 and 62.6 mol%, respectively.

Removal of cyanobacteria by an Aeromonas sp.
Abstract In the present study, the biocontrol of harmful algae by an algicidal bacterium Aeromonas sp. strain FM was examined. The threshold concentration of FM for its algicidal activity against the exponentially growing Microcystis aeruginosa was 2.1 × 108 cfu mL−1.
