The Discretization‐Corrected Particle Strength Method for the Barotropic Vorticity Equations
Numerical solution for the barotropic vorticity equation in complex geometry using the meshless point collocation method. The spatial domain is represented by a set of nodes. The collocation method numerically solves the strong form governing equations.

Lifetime of the Gas Evolution Electrode of the Zn–H2 Storage System
ABSTRACT A novel electrically chargeable galvanic system is presented that efficiently stores energy in the form of zinc and releases hydrogen and electricity upon discharge. In this concept, oxygen is released at the gas electrode during charging, and zinc oxide is reduced to metallic zinc at the counter electrode.

What's New? Multiple genetic polymorphisms characteristic of type 2 diabetes (T2D) have been associated with unfavorable prognostic outcomes in individuals with both T2D and metastatic colorectal cancer. This study evaluated the impact of T2D genetic polymorphisms on metastatic colon cancer prognosis in a cohort of non‐diabetic patients.

Heterotrophic dependence and bidirectional metabolite exchange dynamics in a temperate coral
Abstract In temperate ecosystems, where cold, turbid waters constrain symbiotic potential, corals have evolved facultative symbiosis, providing an opportunity to explore coral energetics in the face of global climate change. We conducted an in situ light exclusion experiment on the facultatively symbiotic temperate coral Astrangia poculata to explore ...
