Measurement of Biological Aerosols in an Aerosol Chamber
2000A standard system for the aerosol exposure of mice with viable Francisella tularensis live vaccine strain (LVS) in an aerosol chamber was developed. The pneumatic nebulizer and the dynamic “nose only” aerosol chamber for exposure of 12 mice were used.

Is atmospheric aerosol an aerosol?—A look at sources and variability
Faraday Discuss., 2008Countless observations of the atmospheric aerosol reveal large concentration variabilities. Such variability is not characteristic for a colloid. It must have a certain degree of stability and that is not seen in the atmospheric aerosol. The question then is open if the atmospheric aerosol is really a colloid, an aerosol.

Subproject AEROSOL The Art of Aerosol Measurement and Modelling within AEROSOL
2001Aerosols are now recognised to play a central role in such diverse environmental problems as respiratory diseases, climate change, visibility impairment and eutrification of remote areas. Aerosols are also the sites on which heterogeneous reactions of gaseous trace constituents occur.
