Nanoscale secondary ion mass spectrometry (Nano SIMS) is established as a powerful analytical tool to visualize and quantify the membrane fouling layers. ABSTRACT Membrane technology has garnered considerable attention for applications in wastewater treatment and resource recovery. Nevertheless, membrane fouling remains a major barrier, yet the lack of

In situ characterization of mixed phase clouds using the Small Ice Detector and the Particle Phase Discriminator [PDF]
Mixed phase clouds (MPCs) represent a great source of uncertainty for both climate predictions and weather forecasts. In particular, there is still a lack of understanding on how ice forms in these clouds.

Faster phenol photolysis at the air–water interface arises from two cooperative factors: a more favorable initial microenvironment for solvent‐side electron stabilization, which lowers CI access, and a more labile hydrogen‐bond network, which more readily reorganizes to stabilize the dark‐state intermediate.

Nitric oxide can enhance secondary aerosol precursor formation from aromatic carbonyls
Atmospheric oxidation of aromatic carbonyl compounds in urban environments can lead to highly oxygenated organic molecules (HOMs) that are direct precursors to secondary organic aerosols (SOA).

CR8L10 is self‐assembled with catalase (CAT) to form CR8L10@CAT nanocomplexes, which can anchor to mucosal surfaces via thiol‐disulfide exchange with mucin, thereby enhancing their mucosal retention. The efficient reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging at inflamed sites would then result in successful treatment in both the intravesical IC/BPS model ...

A nebulized nanoassembly alleviates radiation‐induced lung injury by reprogramming macrophages through coordinated ROS scavenging, NAD+ replenishment, and PPAR‐γ activation. Redox balance, mitochondrial homeostasis, and immune regulation are restored, revealing a microenvironment‐centered strategy for localized radioprotection.

Antimony‐doped tin oxide (ATO) thin films were deposited by aerosol‐assisted chemical vapor deposition (AACVD) and systematically investigated to establish correlations between Sb doping level, structural properties and optoelectronic performance. Optimized films exhibited low sheet resistance, high carrier concentrations, and high visible transparency

Refined Source Apportionment of Atmospheric PM2.5 in a Typical City in Northwest China
The Xixian New District (XXND), established in 2014, is the seventh national-level new district in China, but research on air pollution there has been limited. This study focused on the characteristics and sources of PM2.5 in XXND from 2017 to 2018.
