Sr‐LMO microspheres were synthesized by one‐pot spray pyrolysis, forming multi‐phase lithium manganese oxide with Sr‐doped LiMn2O4, Sr2Mn2O5, and Li2MnO3‐like domains. This structure refines particles, suppresses Jahn–Teller distortion, and adds Li+ pathways, delivering superior cycling stability and rate performance over undoped and commercial LMO ...

Impacts of increasing aridity and wildfires on aerosol loading in the intermountain Western US
Feedbacks between climate warming, land surface aridity, and wildfire-derived aerosols represent a large source of uncertainty in future climate predictions.

Benchmarking GOCART-2G in the Goddard Earth Observing System (GEOS) [PDF]
The Goddard Chemistry Aerosol Radiation and Transport (GOCART) model, which controls the sources, sinks, and chemistry of aerosols within the Goddard Earth Observing System (GEOS), recently underwent a major refactoring and update, including a revision ...

Visual Patterns of Diaphragmatic Motion in Acute Respiratory Failure: A Prospective Pilot Study
In this prospective bicentric study, we studied the relationship between the appearance of diaphragmatic motion and the etiological diagnosis of patients admitted to the emergency department with ARF. We observed a different visual pattern in patients with pneumonia. This is an interesting result as it allows the diagnosis of pneumonia without the need

Winter haze amplification by aerosol hygroscopic growth over eastern Indo- Gangetic Plain
Frequent occurrences of widespread winter haze over Northern India largely appear to originate from exceedingly high concentrations of fine particulate matter from anthropogenic emissions.

Monthly average aerosol optical depth at 320 nm obtained with a Brewer MKIII spectrophotometer for Hobart, Australia (42.8806° S, 147.3250° E) over a 21‐year period. There is a linear trend of 15.4% per decade. There are 9 months when the average aerosol optical depth exceeds twice the monthly standard deviation.

Uncertainty assessment for a novel optically shallow water radiometric acquisition platform
Abstract We present a novel motorized platform, a custom‐built jet‐ski designed for acoustic and radiometric measurements in optically shallow coastal waters. This platform integrates in‐water radiometers with single‐beam and multi‐beam acoustic sensors, along with a suite of active and passive instruments (conductivity‐temperature‐depth, fluorescence,
