Are the aerosols on Uranus and Neptune composed of methane photopolymers? [PDF]
The measured optical properties of photochemically produced aerosols in an adding-doubling radiative transfer code were used to match various points in the spectra of Uranus and Neptune.

On the physics of fizzing: How bubble bursting controls droplets ejection
Bubbles at a free surface surface usually burst in ejecting myriads of droplets. Focusing on the bubble bursting jet, prelude for these aerosols, we propose a simple scaling for the jet velocity and we unravel experimentally the intricate roles of bubble

Advancing global aerosol forecasting with artificial intelligence [PDF]
Aerosol forecasting is essential for air quality warnings, health risk assessment, and climate change mitigation. However, it is more complex than weather forecasting due to the intricate interactions between aerosol physicochemical processes and atmospheric dynamics, resulting in significant uncertainty and high computational costs.

The NASA-Ames Research Center stratospheric aerosol model. 2. Sensitivity studies and comparison with observatories [PDF]
Sensitivity tests were performed on a one-dimensional, physical-chemical model of the unperturbed stratospheric aerosols, and model calculations were compared with observations.

This study examined changes in surgical volume and short‐term outcomes for upper gastrointestinal cancer in the post‐COVID‐19 period using a nationwide Japanese database. We found that surgical treatments for gastrectomy and esophagectomy continued to be performed safely even after the COVID‐19 pandemic.

The aerosol over the world oceans plays an important role in determining the physical and chemical characteristics of the Earth's atmosphere and its interactions with the climate system. The oceans contribute to the aerosols in the overlying atmosphere by the production and emission of aerosol particles and precursor gases. The marine aerosol, in turn,
