Mechanisms of Plasma Polymerization – Reviewed From a Chemical Point of View‐II
To minimize the irregularities of the plasma polymers, which can arise during synthesis From low‐molecular precursors, classical high polymers were fed into the plasma instead of monomers. Unfortunately, the high‐energy UV radiation and ion bombardment acting during plasma deposition also had a structure‐destroying effect.
