This prospective study assessed the accuracy, safety, and tolerance of 490 office‐based biopsies for the diagnosis of laryngopharyngeal lesions. Results showed that OBBs, mainly taken from the glottic and supraglottic larynx, were generally well‐tolerated, with a low complication rate and high diagnostic accuracy.

Evaluation of Aerosol‐Laden Plumes Generated by Jet Ventilation Using Background Oriented Schlieren
A manikin study was conducted to evaluate the risk to healthcare providers during jet ventilation, an aerosol‐generating procedure. Background oriented schlieren and an optical particle sizer were used to characterize the aerosol content in exhaled plumes.
