The numerical solution of aerostatic journal bearings with several supply ports

Wear, 1970
Abstract An analysis concerning load, flow and stiffness of an aerostatic journal bearing with several supply holes is made using a numerical method of solution. Bearing performance curves are presented for various bearing design parameters. A design procedure either for maximum load or maximum stiffness of a finite bearing is also indicated.

Modeling, simulation and testing of aerostatic journal bearing kit

2006
The research on dynamics, modeling and the results of experimental tests of the rotor system rotating in aerostatic bearing with a floating bush or without it is presented in this article. The dependence of rotor vibration intensity on the waviness of the cylinder surfaces of bearing elements was tested and simulated.
