Energy‐Efficient Hydrogen Generation via Peroxide‐Mediated Electrocatalytic Pathways

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
The advantages of peroxide redox chemistry are explored for green hydrogen production. Peroxide redox electrocatalysts enable efficient and selective peroxide production and oxidation, facilitating on‐site hydrogen generation while achieving a nearly 50% reduction in applied potential compared to conventional water‐splitting methods.

Nanochanneling and Local Crystallization Engineering Accelerate Multiphase Single‐Atom Catalysis for Rapid Water Decontamination

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Crystallinity engineering is applied to carbon microspheres for fabricating transition metal single atoms confined in hydrophilic graphitic nanochannels by precisely etching the amorphous carbon realm. This fine‐tuned nanoenvironment enhances tri‐phase mass transfer and optimizes O3 nonradical activation thermodynamics by inducing the bidental “side‐on”

Ein Monolithium‐Monohydrogen‐Porphyrin

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.

Precise Engineering of Asymmetric Tri‐Active Sites by Symbiotic Strategy for Photocontrolled Directional Reforming of Biomass

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A symbiotic strategy is proposed by DFT predictions for the rational design of CuxTiO2 SACs. The Cu SAs are introduced to form an asymmetric Cu–Ov–Ti structure, which significantly enhances the adsorption and activation of O2 and HMF on the catalyst.
