QX008N, an Anti‐TSLP Monoclonal Antibody: Pharmacokinetics, Tolerability, and Immunogenicity in Healthy Chinese Subjects

open access: yesClinical and Translational Science, Volume 19, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT QX008N, a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody against thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) with Fc engineering to extend half‐life, was developed with the aim of exploring whether its extended half‐life and cost‐effective production could potentially address unmet needs in severe asthma therapy, such as the need for less frequent dosing and ...

TbTim20 facilitates protein import at a low membrane potential in trypanosomes lacking the mitochondrial genome

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, Volume 293, Issue 6, Page 1771-1784, March 2026.
Protein import into mitochondria relies on TIM complexes and the membrane potential. Trypanosoma brucei has a unique TIM complex, and the role of one subunit, TbTim20, has remained unclear. Here, we show that TbTim20 is essential in cells lacking mitochondrial DNA. The importance of TbTim20 increases as the membrane potential decreases.

Enduring Crises of the Nation‐State: How Spatial Imaginations Reshape Identity and Dis/Unity

open access: yesGeography Compass, Volume 20, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT This article reframes the contemporary “crisis” of the nation‐state not as a simple erosion of sovereignty but as a problem of spatial misalignment: adaptive states remain strategically embedded in dense transnational regimes, yet domestic legitimacy falters when unitary national imaginaries confront heterogeneous, multi‐sited social realities.

Copaiba Oil–Resin Reduces the Alveolar Bone Damage Triggered by Apical Periodontitis in Rats

open access: yesInternational Endodontic Journal, Volume 59, Issue 3, Page 511-523, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Aim This study aimed to investigate the effects of copaiba oil–resin on induced apical periodontitis in rats. Methodology A total of 24 male Wistar rats were divided equally into three groups (eight animals each): control (C), apical periodontitis (AP) and apical periodontitis with copaiba administration (AP + COP).

Combining Historical and Ecological Methods Provides New Insights for the Recognition of Biogeographical Areas and Their Relationships: The Case of the Gulf of Mexico

open access: yesJournal of Biogeography, Volume 53, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Aim Biogeographical regionalisation is an evolutionary system of nested areas representing the geographic organisation of life on the planet, which is fundamental for understanding basic and applied aspects related to the ecology, evolution and conservation of biotas and their habitats.
