Selective Benzene Capture by Metal‐Organic Frameworks
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) hold significant potential for capturing benzene from air emissions and hydrocarbon mixtures in liquid phases. This capability stems from their precisely engineered structures, versatile chemistries, and diverse binding interactions.

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Noncommutative Lagrange Mechanics
It is proposed how to impose a general type of ''noncommutativity'' within classical mechanics from first principles. Formulation is performed in completely alternative way, i.e.

Electroactive Metal–Organic Frameworks for Electrocatalysis
Electrocatalysis is crucial in sustainable energy conversion as it enables efficient chemical transformations. The review discusses how metal–organic frameworks can revolutionize this field by offering tailorable structures and active site tunability, enabling efficient and selective electrocatalytic processes.

Geometry of the Abel Equation of the first kind
We study the first kind Abel differential equation $$\dfrac{dy}{dx}=c_0(x)+3c_1(x)y+3c_2y^2+c_3(x)y^3,$$ where the functions $c_i$ are real analytic. The first step of our analysis is through the Cartan equivalence method, then we use techniques from ...

Biomimetic Iridescent Skin: Robust Prototissues Spontaneously Assembled from Photonic Protocells
Uniform nanoparticles are induced to form arrays (photonic crystals) in the cores of biopolymer capsules, endowing these ‘protocells’ with structural color. These protocells are then assembled into large self‐standing objects, i.e., prototissues, with robust mechanical properties as well as iridescent optical properties.

Bio‐based and (semi‐)synthetic zwitterion‐modified novel materials and fully synthetic next‐generation alternatives show the importance of material design for different biomedical applications. The zwitterionic character affects the physiochemical behavior of the material and deepens the understanding of chemical interaction mechanisms within the ...

Background-dependent and classical correspondences between f(Q) and f(T) gravity
f(Q) and f(T) gravity are based on fundamentally different geometric frameworks, yet they exhibit many similar properties. This article provides a comprehensive summary and comparative analysis of the various theoretical branches of torsional gravity and

A non-trivial connection for the metric-affine Gauss–Bonnet theory in D = 4
We study non-trivial (i.e. non-Levi-Civita) connections in metric-affine Lovelock theories. First we study the projective invariance of general Lovelock actions and show that all connections constructed by acting with a projective transformation of the ...

Spark plasma sintering enables rapid processing of porous organic polymer (POP) from fine powders to a freestanding and mechanically robust monolith. The sintering process retains the CO2 adsorption capacity and CO2/N2 selectivity, making the monolith more suitable as a solid sorbent for practical carbon capture applications.
