Induced connections of two types on a surface of an affine space

open access: yesДифференциальная геометрия многообразий фигур, 2019
In the affine space the fundamental-group connection in the bundle associated with a surface as a manifold of tangent planes is investigated. The principal bundle contains a quotient bundle of tangent frames, the typical fiber of which is a linear group ...

Expanding Chemical Space of Nucleic Acid Nanoparticles for Tunable Antiviral‐Like Immunomodulatory Responses and Potent Adjuvant Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We introduce a nucleic acid nanoparticle (NANP) platform designed to be rrecognized by the human innate immune system in a regulated manner. By changing chemical composition while maintaining constant architectural parameters, we identify key determinants of immunorecognition enabling the rational design of NANPs with tunable immune activation profiles

In Situ Study of Resistive Switching in a Nitride‐Based Memristive Device

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In situ TEM biasing experiment demonstrates the volatile I‐V characteristic of MIM lamella device. In situ STEM‐EELS Ti L2/L3 ratio maps provide direct evidence of the oxygen vacancies migrations under positive/negative electrical bias, which is critical for revealing the RS mechanism for the MIM lamella device.

Curvature tensor of connection in principal bundle of Cartan's projective connection space

open access: yesДифференциальная геометрия многообразий фигур, 2019
We considered Cartan's projective connection space with structure equations generalizing the structure equations of the projective space and the condition of local projectivity (this condition is an analogue to the equiprojectivity condition in the ...

Special affine connections on symmetric spaces

open access: yesRevista de la Unión Matemática Argentina
Let $(G,H,\sigma)$ be a symmetric pair and $\mathfrak{g}=\mathfrak{m}\oplus\mathfrak{h}$ the canonical decomposition of the Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$ of $G$. We denote by ${\nabla}^0$ the canonical affine connection on the symmetric space $G/H$. A torsion-free $G$-invariant affine connection on $G/H$ is called special if it has the same curvature as ${

Reducing Open‐Circuit Voltage Losses in Wide‐Bandgap FAPbBr3 Perovskite Solar Cells for Continuous Unassisted Light‐Driven Water Splitting

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The combination of formamidinium thiocyanate and 1,3‐propane diammonium iodide for bulk and top‐surface passivation, and a ternary fullerene blend to improve energy band alignment, suppresses energy losses in wide‐bandgap FAPbBr3 perovskite solar cells.

Affine connections and symmetry jets

open access: yes, 2015
We establish a bijective correspondence between affine connections and a class of semi-holonomic jets of local diffeomorphisms of the underlying manifold called symmetry jets in the text.

Connections, Poisson Brackets, and Affine Algebras

open access: yesJournal of Algebra, 1996
The paper is the third in a series aimed at examining algebraic themes in symplectic and Poisson geometry [see also Commun. Algebra 23, 4669-4886 (1995; Zbl 0841.17012)]. Namely, the goal of this paper is to uncover the algebraic essence of connections and use it to analyse Poisson algebras.

Tuning the Electronic Structure and Spin State of Fe─N─C Catalysts Using an Axial Oxygen Ligand and Fe Clusters for High‐Efficiency Rechargeable Zinc–Air Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A FeN4─O/Clu@NC‐0.1Ac catalyst containing atomically‐dispersed FeN4─O sites (medium‐spin Fe2+) and Fe clusters delivered a half‐wave potential of 0.89 V for ORR and an overpotential of 330 mV at 10 mA cm−2 for OER in 0.1 m KOH. When the catalyst was used in a rechargeable Zn–air battery, a power density of 284.5 mW cm−2 was achieved with excellent ...

Solar Heating Enhanced Selective Recovery of Metal Ions Through Flowing Electrodes Enabled by Hybrid Carbon Nanostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A new electrochemical system based on a microporous hybrid of carbon nanoplatelets and nanotubes to selectively capture Ni2+ from wastewater is constructed. The system temperature rises rapidly when irradiated with sunlight, which enhances the Ni2+ removal rate by 250% and the selectivity by 53%, and the energy consumption is also reduced by 51 ...
