Decomposition of the connection in affine models of gravity
In physics geometrical connections are the mean to create models with local symmetries (gauge connections), as well as general diffeomorphisms invariance (affine connections).

This work identified serum proteins associated with pancreatic epithelial neoplasms (PanINs) and early‐stage PDAC. Proteomics screens assessed genetically engineered mice with abundant PanINs, KPC mice (Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐KrasG12D/+ Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐Trp53R172H/+ Pdx1‐Cre) before PDAC development and also early‐stage PDAC patients (n = 31), compared to benign ...

An Integral Formula for Affine Connections [PDF]
In this article, we introduce a $2$-parameter family of affine connections and derive the Ricci curvature. We first establish an integral Bochner technique. On one hand, this technique yields a new proof to our recent work in \cite{LX} for substatic manifolds.

Tandem VHH targeting distinct EGFR epitopes were engineered into a monovalent bispecific antibody (7D12‐EGA1‐Fc) with more potent ADCC without increasing affinity to EGFR. Structural modeling of 7D12‐EGA1‐Fc showed cross‐linking of separate EGFR domains to enhance CD16a engagement on NK cells.

Maxwell-modified metric affine gravity
We present a gauge formulation of the special affine algebra extended to include an antisymmetric tensorial generator belonging to the tensor representation of the special linear group.

Sustainable bioplastics manufacturing from renewable sources
Bioplastics are manufactured by using polymers from different bio‐based sources. These novel materials not only offer biodegradability but also possess various functional properties that make them suitable for diverse applications. Recent developments in the preparation of bioplastics are reported, highlighting the distinct properties of each type of ...

On nondegenerate umbilical affine hypersurfaces in recurrent affine manifolds
Let $widetilde{M}$ be a differentiable manifold of dimension $geqslant 5$, which is endowed with a (torsion-free) affine connection $widetildeabla$ of recurrent curvature.

On an integrable geometrical foundation of gravity
In a talk at the conference {\it Geometrical Foundations of Gravity at Tartu 2017}, it was suggested that the affine spacetime connection could be associated with purely fictitious forces. This leads to gravitation in a flat and smooth geometry. Fermions

Enzymes of the 2‐hydroxyacyl‐CoA lyase group catalyze the condensation of formyl‐CoA with aldehydes or ketones. Thus, by structural adaptation of active sites, practically any pharmaceutically and industrially important 2‐hydroxyacid could be biotechnologically synthesized. Combining crystal structure analysis, active site mutations and kinetic assays,

A Characterization of Invariant Affine Connections [PDF]
1. Introduction and statement of theorem. 1. In [1] Ambrose and Singer gave a necessary and sufficient condition (Theorem 3 here) for a simply connected complete Riemannian manifold to admit a transitive group of motions. Here we shall give a simple proof of a more general theorem — Theorem 1 (the proof of Theorem 1 became suggestive to us after we ...
