A Mixed Frequency BVAR for the Australian Economy*
Economic Record, EarlyView.A mixed frequency vector autoregression (MFVAR) model is proposed for nowcasting, forecasting and backcasting Australian macroeconomic indicators at monthly and quarterly frequencies. A novel augmented Minnesota prior for MFVAR models is also introduced.

Basis Networks: Learning basis functions for free‐form triangulations
Computer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.Abstract We present a framework for learning compactly supported basis functions that define tangent continuous surfaces based on coarse irregular triangle meshes. The basis functions are represented as MLPs. Smoothness of the basis functions is achieved by using the values of Loop basis functions as the parameterization of the surface.

Discovery of a cryptic aminoacidic triad involved in the temperature adaptation of GH1 enzymes
The FEBS Journal, EarlyView.Cold‐active enzymes retain high catalytic activity at low temperatures but are characterized by thermal instability, a behavior not fully understood. Comparison between a cold‐active GH1 and its mesophilic counterparts highlights the role of a three‐residue motif (W‐M‐F) in conferring structural stability to a mesophilic GH1.

Penetration enhancement effects of topically applied crosslinked hyaluronic acid
International Journal of Cosmetic Science, EarlyView.Cross‐linked hyaluronic acid (HA) was demonstrated to enhance the topical delivery of a variety of hydrophilic actives into the skin.
