Efficacy of Inebilizumab in N‐MOmentum Trial Participants With or Without Prior Immunosuppressants

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This post hoc analysis examined the impact of prior immunosuppressants on the long‐term efficacy and safety of inebilizumab, a cluster of differentiation 19+ B‐cell–depleting monoclonal antibody, in participants with aquaporin‐4–seropositive neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder from the N‐MOmentum trial (NTC02200770).

Adaptive regularization matrix for affine projection algorithm

open access: yes, 2019
We propose an adaptive regularized affine projection algorithm (AR-APA) with a regularization matrix. Instead of the conventional fixed and weighted identity matrix for regularization, the proposed AR-APA incorporates a nonidentity regularization matrix ...

White Matter Microstructural Abnormalities in Neonatal Onset Genetic Epilepsy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Recent evidence indicates that epilepsy is associated with abnormal white matter. If seizures alter white matter, then the impact upon network function, epileptogenesis, and cognition could be pronounced in neonates undergoing rapid developmental myelination. Neonates with epilepsy due to nonstructural genetic causes provide a unique

Gradient controlled improved proportionate affine projection sign algorithm

open access: yes, 2018
Recently, proportionate adaptive filters are commonly used in the acoustic echo cancellation problems. In proportionate adaptive filters, for each coefficient a step-size which proportional to magnitude of that coefficient is applied.

Kernel affine projection for compensating nonlinear impairments in optical direct detection systems

open access: yes, 2019
We propose a novel kernel affine projection (KAP) algorithm, which combines kernel mapping and affine projection for channel equalization in optical direct detection systems.

Building a Framework for Sexual and Reproductive Health Care in the Rheumatology Context: Content and Approaches

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
People with systemic autoimmune and rheumatic diseases (SARDs) are at higher risk than the general population of experiencing adverse pregnancy and perinatal outcomes such as preeclampsia, intrauterine growth restriction, and maternal and/or fetal death.

Affine Projection Adaptive Filter with Variable Regularization

open access: yes, 2016
We propose two affine projection algorithms (APA) with variable regularization parameter. The proposed algorithms dynamically update the regularization parameter that is fixed in the conventional regularized APA (R-APA) using a gradient descent based ...

Revisiting Stability Criteria in Ball‐Milled High‐Entropy Alloys: Do Hume–Rothery and Thermodynamic Rules Equally Apply?

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Direct Metal Deposition of Graphene–Ti28Nb35.4Zr Matrix Composites With Enhanced Mechanical, Corrosion, and Biocompatibility Properties for Bone Implants

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Graphene nanoplatelet (0.1 wt.%) reinforcement significantly enhances the performance of β Ti‐28Nb‐35.4Zr alloy. Grain refinement, reduced water contact angle, and improved surface characteristics promote osteoblast adhesion and complete surface coverage after 7 days.

The Multichannel Gauss-Seidel Fast Affine Projection Algorithm for Active Noise Control

open access: yes, 2003
It is well known that fast affine projection algorithms can produce a good trade-off between convergence speed and computational complexity. Recently, a multichannel fast affine projection algorithm was introduced for active noise control, using a ...
