Representation of Abstract Affine Functions
It is known that any subspace \(\H\) of the space of continuous functions on a compact set can be represented as the space of affine continuous functions defined on the state space of \(\H\). The aim of this paper is to generalize this result for abstract affine functions of various descriptive classes (Borel, Baire etc.).

α2 → 8 polysialic acid elicits poor immunogenicity. Small‐angle scattering shows a supramolecular structure with parallel‐chain binding, although in different forms at μm and mm calcium. The major histocompatibility complex requires molecular weights around 2000 Da to produce antibodies, and 2000 Da polysialic oligomers will bind in these structures ...

A representation-theoretic proof of the branching rule for Macdonald polynomials [PDF]
We give a new representation-theoretic proof of the branching rule for Macdonald polynomials using the Etingof-Kirillov Jr. expression for Macdonald polynomials as traces of intertwiners of $U_q(gl_n)$. In the Gelfand-Tsetlin basis, we show that diagonal

Privacy-Preserving Image Features via Adversarial Affine Subspace Embeddings
Many computer vision systems require users to upload image features to the cloud for processing and storage. These features can be exploited to recover sensitive information about the scene or subjects, e.g., by reconstructing the appearance of the ...

Twisted quantum affinizations and their vertex representations [PDF]
In this paper, we generalize Drinfeld’s twisted quantum affine algebras to construct twisted quantum algebras for all simply laced generalized Cartan matrices and present their vertex representation realizations.

Venom peptides have shown promise in treating pain. Our study uses computer screening to identify a peptide that targets a sodium channel (NaV1.7) linked to chronic pain. We produced the peptide in the laboratory and refined its design, advancing the search for innovative pain therapies.

On affine motions with one-dimensional orbits in common spaces of paths
The concept of a common path space was introduced by J. Duqlas. M. S. Knebelman was the first to consider affine and projective movements in these spaces. The general path space is a generalization of the space of affine connectivity.

$C^1$-actions of Baumslag-Solitar groups on $S^1$
Let $BS(1, n)=$ be the solvable Baumslag-Solitar group, where $ n\geq 2$. It is known that B(1, n) is isomorphic to the group generated by the two affine maps of the line : $f_0(x) = x + 1$ and $h_0(x) = nx $.

The power of microRNA regulation—insights into immunity and metabolism
MicroRNAs are emerging as crucial regulators at the intersection of metabolism and immunity. This review examines how miRNAs coordinate glucose and lipid metabolism while simultaneously modulating T‐cell development and immune responses. Moreover, it highlights how cutting‐edge artificial intelligence applications can identify miRNA biomarkers ...

Robust Image Recovery via Affine Transformation and
In this paper, we propose a novel robust algorithm for image recovery via affine transformations and the L2,1 norm. To be robust against miscellaneous adverse effects such as occlusions, outliers, and heavy sparse noise, the new algorithm integrates ...
