White Matter Microstructural Abnormalities in Neonatal Onset Genetic Epilepsy
ABSTRACT Objective Recent evidence indicates that epilepsy is associated with abnormal white matter. If seizures alter white matter, then the impact upon network function, epileptogenesis, and cognition could be pronounced in neonates undergoing rapid developmental myelination. Neonates with epilepsy due to nonstructural genetic causes provide a unique

Complexes of HMO1 with DNA: Structure and Affinity
Saccharomyces cerevisiae HMO1 is an architectural nuclear DNA-binding protein that stimulates the activity of some remodelers and regulates the transcription of ribosomal protein genes, often binding to a DNA motif called IFHL. However, the molecular mechanism dictating this sequence specificity is unclear.

A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.

UNIQUENESS OF AFFINE STRUCTURES ON RIEMANN SURFACES
Let $M$ be any compact Riemann surface of genus $g\ge 2$. It is first established that there do not exist on $M$ any generic low- degree simple polar variations of branched affine structures having fixed nonpolar and polar branch data and fixed induced character homomorphism $\tilde \psi$. Hence, these structures depend uniquely on

The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

The tribological behavior of 100Cr6 steel spheres textured via Vickers microindentation is evaluated under lubricated sliding by varying both dimple size and density. Fine and dense textures significantly reduce friction across all lubrication regimes, while large dimples increase it.

Steam generator identification using piecewise affine model
The role of steam generators in power plants is to remove the thermal power produced in the first cycle and provide the turbine intake steam. Controlling the steam generator water level has an important role in preventing unwanted turbine trips and ...

A hierarchical porous copper current collector is fabricated via three‐dimensional printing combined with pressureless sintering to stabilize lithium metal anodes. The interconnected architecture lowers local current density, guides uniform Li deposition within pores, and suppresses dendrite growth.
