Advancing pharmacometrics in Africa—Transition from capacity development toward job creation
Abstract Trained pharmacometricians remain scarce in Africa due to limited training opportunities, lack of a pharmaceutical product development ecosystem, and emigration to high‐income countries. The Applied Pharmacometrics Training (APT) fellowship program was established to address these gaps and specifically foster job creation for talent retention.

Assessing the impact of model biases on subseasonal forecast skill
Relaxation experiments where the nudging was performed towards bias‐corrected integrations of the same model display significantly improved skill at weeks 3 and 4, particularly in the northern extratropics. This indicates that there is a large potential for improving dynamical subseasonal forecasting skill by improved treatment of model biases.

ABSTRACT Percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage (PTBD) catheter placement is known to have a high readmission rate. This work focuses on monitoring the change in readmission rate after a new clinical paradigm for post‐procedural care is implemented for the PTBD procedures.
